Product Lines and Profiles
The Casa Fuente brand is divided into two primary series, distinguished by the color of the ribbon at the foot of the cigar:
- Original Casa Fuente Series (Orange Ribbon): This series features an authentic African Cameroon wrapper, over a Dominican binder and filler. It is renowned for its medium-bodied profile, with notes of sweetness, spice, cedar, and roasted nuts.
- Series 5 / Special Selection (Yellow Ribbon): Often referred to as the “Casa Fuente Maduro,” this series typically uses a dark Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper. It offers a richer, medium-to-full-bodied experience, with deeper notes of chocolate, cocoa, and leather.
Occasionally, rare shapes like the BBMF (Big Bad Mother Fer)*, a perfecto with a Maduro cap at the foot for an initial burst of flavor before transitioning to the natural wrapper, are available.
